BUSINESS EXPERIENCE. A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE.
ABOUT TIM
Tim Strait is an entrepreneur, technology executive, and author with more than three decades of experience building businesses and leading technological change.
He serves as Chief Information Officer of Calista Corporation and is the co-founder and former president of StraitSys, the federal technology services company acquired by Yulista in 2022. His experience combines responsibility for business performance, client delivery, and growth with hands-on work in software engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
Across founder, president, COO, CTO, and CIO roles, Tim has worked at the intersection of technology decisions and business consequences. That perspective informs his writing about AI, organizational transformation, and the responsibilities of leadership.
He is the author of The Nobility Trap, Terminal Velocity, and The Weight of Leadership, and creator of The Strait Perspective, his LinkedIn series exploring leadership, AI, and transformation.
